ame fact seciton

usotsuki was used as the base when designing ame
i think the most fun part of ynfgs is being able to interpret things your own way! not much is canon about ame for that reason!!! there are a lot of things in angel wings there are intended to be interpreted in a lot of ways!!!!!!!!
the things that i imagine to actually be canon about ame:

ame loves animals and her favorites are dogs and bunnies
ame loves both spring and winter and wishes she could combine their traits into one season
ame is a teen (13-19)

ame's canon appearance consists of what you can see from her sprite + dark brown eyes but i also love artist interpretation and think ame is super cute with blue eyes too
ame's canon birthday is april 14. her semi canon birth year is 1999 ..
i chose ame's name before pretty much anything else about her. i thought the name was super cute... she was gonna be ametsuki but a character by that name already existed!! funnily enough, they also look a little similar
even MORE about ame's name: i was gonna search for a name that meant angel,, like angel wings... i was gonna go with tenshitsuki but that was a little stupid thank god i didn't. omg., i decided to go with ame because it was simple and cute! i later found out the kanji for heaven, 天 (ten) can be read as ame! but strangely, it doesn't seem to be used this way in any words i can find...? outside of ten, it's read more commonly as ama. it's still a really cool coincidence though!!!!
in ame's original design, she had light blue hair and wore a school uniform.
ame's ingame lines are created using kaai yuki! i've begun associating yuki with ame as a result! during development, i discovered the song watashi wa ame, which i thought was crazy!! it came on my youtube mix while i was working on angel wings! kaai yuki used?!?!?!! watashi wa ame?!?!?! anyway
along with the above, i associate this kaai yuki song with angel wings even more!!

general angle wing development facts and lblallh

i get a lot of inspiration from things i see in real life. a (rather terrible) trip i took to pennsylvania inspired the thrift store section... a trip i took to the beach inspired the... beach section. no way??
similar to ame's name, i came up with the name angel wings randomly while taking a walk a while before i even started planning for dream diary jam
angel wings was originally going to have multiple endings. as of v.0.2, (2025,) it only has one!!! omg! and will probably only have one for the foreseeable future!
